Steph and Jerry’s wedding at the Popponesset Inn in Mashpee, MA was an absolute blast! While it was a cold November day on the Cape, it was still sunny and gorgeous. I got to know Steph when I photographed our friend Denise’s wedding, and I was so honored when she asked me to capture hers!

Popponesset Inn is a well-sought-after Cape Cod venue. With its beachfront setting and ocean views, it is perfect any time of year. Steph grew up on the Cape, so it was meaningful for her to begin this new chapter in her life here. Steph and her bridesmaids got ready in her childhood home. Some of my favorite images from the day were of Steph as she got ready with her sister and bridesmaids, as well as the emotional first look with her dad. There was so much excitement and joy!

Jerry got ready separately with his groomsmen at the Inn. We had some fun out on the golf course and gave a toast to Jerry. Everyone in the wedding party had been friends for a long time so it was easy to photograph them throughout the day!

Cape Cod Beach Wedding

Guests arrived in the afternoon at the beautiful indoor ceremony space in the Popponesset Inn. The space was decorated beautifully with lots of white hydrangeas and with the ocean as the backdrop. Steph and Jerry’s adorable nieces and nephews walked down the aisle during the ceremony as the ring bearers and flower girls!

The decision on whether or not to do a first look is a very personal one. Steph and Jerry opted to wait to see each other as Steph walked down the aisle with her dad. Jerry’s face says it all when he sees Steph for the first time! It was a memorable moment for everyone present.

After the ceremony, we braved the cold and headed out to the beach for the wedding party and couple portraits. This was one of my favorite couples' shoots on the beach! The lighting was amazing as the sun set and they were very into the shoot - a photographer’s dream!

Their beachy reception decor looked perfect in the space and the sand dollar escort cards were a nice touch for each of their guests. Steph and Jerry enjoyed dinner, drinks, and a night of dancing with their family and friends. Congratulations to this wonderful couple!
