That’s where I come in.
I’ve been photographing weddings for seven years, and my absolute favorite thing about every wedding I photograph are those moments behind the lens when I know I’ve captured something you
are truly going to love. I chase that feeling, because as much joy as it brings me, I know it’s going to bring you even more. I live for the precious moments you missed because you were so caught up in your own moment enjoying your wedding day. The real moments, that make your story yours.

Plan Your Engagement Shoot
The best part about an engagement shoot is the one on one time we get to connect before your wedding and figure out what works best for YOU. It’s also a great opportunity to get photos to use for your invitations or to display at your reception.
Pre-Wedding Check In
Two weeks before your wedding, I will touch base to make sure everything we’ve discussed is still going according to plan.

Welcome to… Beyond The Lens: Steve Nisotel
I’m a musician. I’ve been playing music ever since I can remember. I started on the piano when I was 5, switched to clarinet in elementary school, and then found my true calling on the drums in middle school. I’ve even managed to pick up the guitar over the years. I’ve been playing in bands since I moved to Boston in 2011, and have been fortunate enough to play some of Boston’s most famous venues like Great Scott and The Middle East. If you want to see me in action you can come catch my band Wario Speedwagon sometime at a show around Boston!
I love to cook. When I can make the time, few things make me happier than throwing together a nice meal for the people I love and care about. One of my favorite things is getting people to try new foods and exposing them to different cuisines. I’ve traveled all over and like to think my cooking has been influenced by all of the places I’ve been. My favorite dish to make is shakshuka. I’m also an expert meal prepper, so if you need advice, ask me!
I started a Mario Kart club. Nerd alert. The time was March 2020. The world had changed overnight. Three weeks into the pandemic, I was craving human interaction of any kind outside of my roommates at the time. A simple Facebook post about Mario Kart on Nintendo Switch led to a group of friends who met online every week to race and hurl shells and obscenities at each other over Zoom. Three years later and we’re still doing it, same time every week.
I am a nationally ranked Chess player. I never said I was good, but I am nationally ranked. I learned how to play chess from my dad as a kid, but last year got caught up in the Chess hype and decided to hone that skill a bit. I competed in a few local tournaments and managed to place 3rd in one of them. You can find me on Chess.com as St3vo7988, or hanging in Harvard Square with the chess bums.
